About Us

The Purposeful Servants Cooperative (PSC) is a Christian homeschool community built on biblical values, servant leadership, and shared purpose. We aim to enrich the home education journey by providing meaningful fellowship, academic and elective classes, and Christ-centered community for families who desire to raise children grounded in God’s Word.

We are a parent-led co-op that thrives on the gifts, time, and energy of its members. Every family contributes, every child is valued, and Christ is at the center of all we do.

  • Meeting Day: Fridays
  • Semester Length: About 14 weeks (Fall & Spring)
  • Ages Served: Nursery through high school
  • Classes: Elective, interactive, life skills, and performance-based options
  • Parent Involvement: Required – this is a true co-op, not a drop-off program
  • Field Trips: Monthly during one of the Friday meeting days
  • Price: $80 Per Family Per Semester
  • Location: Shady Grove Baptist Church

Our structure ensures families are involved and supported as we grow together in grace and truth.

Our cooperative is unapologetically Christ-centered. We believe in the authority of Scripture and the calling to raise children in the knowledge of God.

We hold to the following principles:

  • Upholding biblical truth while extending grace to others
  • Encouraging unity without compromising on core doctrine
  • Equipping families to be salt and light in today’s world

Everything we teach and promote at The Purposeful Servants Cooperative is aligned with our Declaration of Faith and our commitment to honoring the Lord in word and deed.

The Purposeful Servants Cooperative is led by a prayerful, servant-hearted team of volunteers:

  • Co-op Director – Cortney Midgal
  • Membership Director – Kristine Counts
  • Secretary/Treasurer – Hannah Morrill

Our Board serves continuously and is committed to the cooperative’s mission of equipping homeschool families in a God-honoring way.

We’d love to hear from you! If you’re curious about our co-op or would like to speak to a board member, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
