Purposeful Dancers: 9-18 Years Old

$0.00

Join us for Purposeful Dancers, a dynamic dance class designed for homeschool students eager to express their creativity and faith through movement. In this class, we will explore the art of worship dance, which combines dance with spiritual expression, allowing dancers to convey their devotion and connect with their beliefs through rhythm and grace.

Students will learn essential techniques from ballet, jazz, and lyrical styles, emphasizing body alignment, fluidity, and emotional expression. Each session will focus on developing skills while fostering a supportive environment where dancers can grow in confidence and artistry.

As part of the class, dancers will need to purchase a costume for the end-of-semester showcase, where they’ll have the chance to display their hard work and talent. For girls, the required uniform includes a leotard paired with a skirt, ballet tights, and pink ballet shoes. Alternatively, tank tops with biker shorts or leggings are also acceptable for class. For boys, athletic wear and black ballet shoes are required.

Additionally, there will be an exciting opportunity for dancers to perform in a larger recital at Faith in Motion’s dance recital on May 29. To prepare for this event, two mandatory dance rehearsals will be scheduled after the co-op concludes in the Spring.

Come and be part of a joyful community where dance meets purpose!
